2021-2022 FUNDING REQUEST

Applications for Funding must include:

• Name of Applicant Organization

• Name of contact person, email address, phone number and organization website.

• Purpose of funding request and detailed budget of expenditures.

• Approx number of youth that will be impacted by the funding.

• List of other sources of funding.

• Is it an ongoing program or repeat request from prior year?

• Any recognition to the Optimist Club of Newmarket such as an invitation to an event or recognition and acknowledgement at an event, media release or other advertising, programs or newsletter acknowledgement.

Oral Presentation

• Upon receipt of your request we may request a representative of your organization to attend one of our meetings to present your project to our membership. The presentation should be limited to approx 10 minutes and will include a brief Q&A.

• Eligibility and funding of new requests will be determined by a majority vote of club membership

• A follow up report describing how the funds were spent is required.
